Greetings all,

In this week’s episode of Ventures, my guests Joel Fariss, Mike Anderson, and I discuss the topics of our upcoming webinar on the Internet of Places (register here for free → https://www2.gensler.com/se-internet-of-places, it will take place March 7th, 2023 4-5pm PST). We talk about how the Future of Work, cities, real estate, and architectural design will interact with and espouse Web3, NFTs, XR, and other emerging technologies and use-cases to help humans flourish.

The future is going to be strange and awesome

I’ve seen so much amazing design work come from my friends who work to usher in the future of physical/digital spaces. In fact, digital and physical are merging so fast that it’s hard to keep up.

What real estate developers will do with public blockchains has yet to be fully realized (or even imagined). I’m hopeful that transparency, a public ledger, and fractionalization of real-world (and virtual-world) assets will help make real estate ownership more accessible and equitable.

I really enjoyed the podcast this week with Mike and Joel.

If you haven’t yet registered to join our webinar on March 7th @ 4-5pm PST, you can do so here.

I’ll see you then!

Have a great rest of your week.
