Greetings all,
In this week’s episode of Ventures, I (https://twitter.com/wclittle) introduce for Web2 & Web3 product managers the company https://magic.link and why you should consider using their products to onboard customers in Web2&3. I also introduce GitHub Copilot (https://github.com/features/copilot) as a must-use tool when both learning to code and writing code professionally.
Check it out: Product: Magic Link for Web2 & Web3 Product Managers. Code: GitHub Copilot
The AI Revolution
We’ve talked about GPT4 and such, but when Bill Gates publishes a thing and Sam Altman goes on Lex’s show, you know something’s up.
We’ll see GPT-5 probably within a year or so, and listening to Naval and David Deutsch discuss all the things in this Tim Farriss episode….
… makes me wonder… when is the right time to invest heavily in this space?
At first glance, you might be tempted to think NOW.
However, we are in an exponential growth curve season right now, which means the people who invested in it years ago are the ones who are reaping the benefits.
Right now is a time, in my opinion, to BOTH learn everything you can and tinker – AND wait for the proverbial curve to slow down a bit and see where things are at when the dust settles.
We are seeing a TON of “Generative AI for x” companies pop up (understandably). If you can become a plugin partner for ChatGPT, then this is undeniably a smart play right now.
Regardless, the landscape is going to be VERY different in the fall vs. now.
Text to startup?
I still am interested in anything that is going to help me go from idea to full branding and coded web/mobile app with Generative AI. I spent some time tinkering with Midjourney and ChatGPT this past weekend and - well - we’re getting close..
Otherside
This past weekend I went on the 2nd Trip and captured some footage here (yes, I got myself a cool helmet). I’m excited to see where this project goes, especially in directions where we can bring attention with it to IRL impact projects.
