In this week’s episode of Ventures, my guest Tela Andrews (https://www.linkedin.com/in/telaandrews/) and I discuss all-things crypto taxes, bridge-building with regulators around the world, and his company Fyn (formerly https://bear.tax). We talk about how an efficient tax system in Web3 is good for everyone, what regulators need to know, what retail investors should be thinking about regarding their tax strategies, and how operators of businesses - especially CFOs - can efficiently run their books with crypto.

I’m out in NYC this week (https://www.nft.nyc/) getting to know a ton more about various projects related to music, generative art, brand building, and empowering artists of all kinds. As I’ve been meeting people from all around the world, one thing that stands out is that builders are not concerned with the current market conditions. There is SO much momentum behind Web3 - and NFTs are undoubtedly going to play a key role - that the energy continues to be electric.
I love seeing all the innovation in space. Stay tuned for more details as I collect my notes and write more reflections next week.
Have a great rest of your week!
