📃Founder Update
Zebra Health Solutions is proud to work with SHIELD Illinois as its newest Operations Partner. We will be part of the critical infrastructure providing cost-free testing to millions of K-12 school students and broader communities in the State of Illinois in order to help public and private schools return to safe, in-person instruction.
A nonprofit unit of the University of Illinois System, SHIELD Illinois is dedicated to deploying the U of I-developed saliva-based COVID-19 to safely reopen Illinois schools, business, and organizations.

To say that Taylor Greene has her finger on the pulse of Prota would be an understatement. She is coming up on her 2 year anniversary with Prota this month so calling her the “Prota Rolodex” (for those who still remember what those are) is pretty spot on. Taylor takes pride in her ability to connect with people. She also enjoys creating resources to help enable the ecosystem to answer questions of their own and for others. Her attention to detail, organization and memory is what sets her apart, especially with what we are doing at Prota with our support of Founders, Investors and Talent.
Some of the work that Taylor has enjoyed the most has been the bi-monthly meeting with some of the Women In Prota (WIP) and helping hire and on-board all of the contractors working in Prota Studios. She is passionate about creating better processes for Prota “That allow us to thrive and become a world-class organization”. Maybe someday she will get that home office in London.😃
When Taylor isn’t doing an inhuman amount of work, she enjoys reading, playing board games, walking outside with friends, hiking in places with mountains (not Texas where she currently lives). She loves watching movies/dramatic TV shows and inspirational sports movies or TV shows (looking at you, Ted Lasso). She has also hiked 82 Miles of the West Highland Way Trail in Scotland. If it wasn’t for a storm system she would have completed the entire 96 miles!
When I asked her what her “Desert Island Disk” was she asked “Is that a CD?” The lesson here is never assume people know what you are talking about. The answer was ODESZA, check it out!

📆Prota Weekly Call Highlights
October 19, 2021 we were joined by Reno Perry from Wiseful. Wiseful is modern career services powered by creators & communities. “The job search process is broken - instead of professionals relying on universities for learning & career services, or platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. to find jobs, we envision a future where they instead go to their favorite creators & online communities for this information. We want to be the “highway” connecting employers and educational providers to these untapped audiences. Azzam Hajyousif is the Prota Touchpoint on this venture.
October 12, 2021 we were joined by Disha Gulati from Here Here Market. A boutique marketplace for culinary creators (like chefs/bakers/ mixologists) who are building direct-to-consumer businesses outside the four walls of a restaurant or storefront. Their mission is to democratize market access by being a one stop platform for creators to coalesce their audiences and monetize their digital & physical products. Think Etsy + Patreon, but specifically for food & bev! April Oury is the Prota Touchpoint on this venture.
October 5, 2021 we were joined by Joel Fariss joining us to share some reflections regarding "the future of work" and how we might envision this future more acutely.
September 28, 2021 we were joined by Jesse Warren and Crew from Socially Inept. They are a renegade band of tech comedians. “We hold a glitchy, overpriced smart mirror up to big tech, roaming from city to city roasting nerds and taking their coin. We are your go-to source for all things tech satire.” The Prota Touchpoint on this is Jameeleh Shelo

🎉Prota Events
On October 11th we kicked off Q4 in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Hosted by Mark and Linda Olson, we were introduced to new Founders, Investors and Talent (F.I.T)! Including founder Doc Larsen from Quantum Star Technologies. We had an amazing time at the Innovation Hub event, meeting with so many talented individuals and passionate founders alongside purposeful investors. The Coeur d’Alene area has so many opportunities to help founders and create change in our world. We are looking forward to following up with everyone we met, get funds transferred for a few of the symbiotic opportunities, and look to surround founders with support.
We are so excited to be connected to these exciting F.I.T! Keep an eye out for a Prota Event near you!
